Travellar – the trips in your camera roll, as animated map videos

Travellar turns travel photos, videos and route data into animated map videos designed for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms. Users can import geotagged camera-roll media, Google Maps routes, GPX or KML files, or choose places directly on a map; the service arranges locations in sequence and plays media along the route. Its iPhone-only AI Trip Finder identifies journeys in a camera roll, prioritizes favourites and selects representative images from similar shots, while excluding receipts and documents. Photos remain on the phone unless users publish them.

Reels can be customized with 2D or 3D maps, photo treatments, labels, route colours, music, camera movement, timing and portrait, square or landscape layouts. Routes can be edited by renaming, reordering or adding stops, and selecting walking, cycling or driving for each segment. The product is designed for trips of any scale, from a local walk to a multi-country journey, and reels can be downloaded without publishing on Travellar. The wider platform lets travellers share recommendations, browse and save activities, access plans offline, and arrange activities others can join at a set time. It also promotes traveller-submitted, non-sponsored local discoveries and offers creators reel sharing, website embeds and audience-building features. Public recommendations and scheduled activities are visible to anyone with a link or profile access.
