Grok bot is now in Tesla

Elon Musk announced that Grok, an AI assistant, is now integrated into Tesla vehicles, enabling hands-free, in-car productivity. Tesla’s message explains that Grok uses "Connectors" to access and act on users’ digital accounts so it can manage email, clean up calendars, and walk through existing files, chats, and tasks. The integration is pitched as letting the car do “meaningful work” for the occupant without touching a phone, with voice control allowing the assistant to read, summarize, edit, and take actions across linked services.

Early user reports included practical examples such as ordering Starbucks while Full Self-Driving handled the drive, confirming items and totals by voice and completing the purchase, and other remarks about the car effectively running errands. The rollout appears targeted to higher-tier users (references to “SuperGrok”), and emphasis is on real-world utility rather than just conversational novelty.
