DDoS Attack Breaks Beloved Video Game Wiki After AI Bro Was Banned

A long-running fan wiki that archives unused and unreleased video game content is offline after what its maintainers say is a distributed-denial-of-service attack tied to an annoyed user running Claude-based tools. The site has long fought automated scraping and LLM access with custom MS Paint anti-AI pages - including an image recreation of the notorious goatse and messages like “AI loser detected” that trigger on prompt-injection attempts - and maintainers say that antagonizing those tools may have provoked retaliation. A homepage notice claims the DDoS “seems to have been triggered by someone using Claude Code,” and hosting has temporarily blocked traffic while the attack subsides even though the server itself reports as online and healthy.

Maintainers point to a specific individual, Ron Stoner (account forwardsecrecy), who was banned for using Claude, allegedly reported the site to the host, and whose email was used to file abuse reports; he has public blog posts describing poisoning LLMs and orchestrating Sybil attacks. Stoner sought legal counsel via Grok and did not directly respond to outreach, while a co-founder, Xkeeper, says they have not explicitly accused him of conducting the attack but find his actions and writings suspicious.
